Don't get scared!

The introduction is a bit heavy but don't let it bog you down. I found it worth reading but if it is too much for you go on to chapter 1. ... I can't wait to meet everyone on the blog and to read your reflections and comments. Let's remember to pray for each other. I went to a Catholics Come Home meeting this evening. Father gave a talk on Reconciliation. It was a great review. Do you have questions about the faith? Post them and let's try to help each other find answers so as to live a faith filled virtuous life. I very excited that we have non-Catholics and people who are at all stages of their faith journey. This should add spice our online conversations. Happy praying, reading, blogging and journeying. Post soon as I am full of anticipation for this to get off the ground.

Ruth--I do have a question that maybe someone can help me with. I will be getting my daughter baptised in the near future. But being 5 years old, she is FULL of questions that her "new Catholic" mommy doesn't know how to answer. I want this to have as much meaning for her as it does for me but I'm unsure as to how to present the idea of baptism to her in a way that she will understand as well be excited about. I find, when in doubt, consult a book...does anyone know of a good kids book out there that explains baptism on their level?? Any ideas would be helpful! I just took the baptism preparation class tonight and did get a few ideas (or at least a few of my own questions answered). I'm also looking for any good religious children's books that might be able to help me to answer a few of the wonderful questions she has already asked me. It's amazing how much she wants to know about God (and how much mommy gets stumped with some of her questions!)

Thanks! -Tessa
