Michelle - Chapter 1- Prudence
I especially enjoyed the examples of natural prudence vs. supernatural prudence, especially those of Dr. Edith Stein (Sr. Teresa Benedicta). These really drove home the difference between natural and supernatural prudence for me. In this Lenten season, I think about Christ and his prudence when he stood before Pilate. This takes such great strength and faith. I really need to pray for the strength to practice such prudence in my life, ignoring earthly prudence when it conflicts with divine prudence. Lord, give me the strength to do your will here on earth, keeping my eye and heart toward seeing you in your Kingdom.

Good to see you post. .... Thanks for reminding us of Christ's prudence when standing before Pilate. I am trying to meditate more on the Lord's passion during Lent and this is something to continue pondering and a good model for prudence in my own lives. ... but not an easy example to follow......... "Lord, help me develop supernatural prudence that I may always do your will."
